Twitch Yo Filter — Privacy Policy

This policy covers version 1.0.0 of the Twitch Yo Filter browser extension, distributed by the publisher through urnela.lt.
Local chat processing
The extension reads message text displayed in Twitch chat to identify and hide messages containing only “yo”, including capitalization, punctuation and repetition. This processing occurs in your browser. It does not delete messages from Twitch or affect other viewers.
Chat text is temporarily processed in memory. The extension does not save chat messages, upload them, or send them to the publisher or any third party. It does not intentionally extract or retain usernames, badges or timestamps.
Saved preferences and permissions
The storage permission is used only to save the filter’s on/off preference through chrome.storage.local. This preference remains on your device; the extension does not use Chrome’s synchronized storage. Twitch page access allows its content script to inspect displayed chat messages and change their visibility. It does not run on other websites.
No tracking or external services
The extension contains no analytics, advertising, tracking services or remotely hosted executable code. It does not collect passwords, payment information, location data or browsing history. It makes no network requests to transmit chat content or preferences. It does not sell or share user data or use it for advertising, creditworthiness or lending decisions.
Your controls
You can turn filtering off using the extension popup, disable the extension in your browser, or uninstall it. Uninstalling removes its extension-local saved preference. Twitch and your browser process data under their own policies, independently of this extension.
This website
This policy describes the extension, not all activity on urnela.lt. Visiting this policy or downloading the extension involves normal website and hosting requests, which may be logged by the hosting provider. The extension itself does not send chat data to urnela.lt.
