Chat without the YO spam.

A small Chrome and Opera extension that hides Twitch messages containing only “yo”. Ordinary sentences stay visible. Turn it on or off from the extension icon.

Install in Chrome

  1. Download and extract the ZIP to a folder you will keep.
  2. Enter chrome://extensions in the address bar.
  3. Enable Developer mode.
  4. Choose Load unpacked and select the Twitch-Yo-Filter folder containing manifest.json.
  5. Refresh Twitch. Pin the extension to access its switch.

Install in Opera / Opera GX

  1. Download and extract the ZIP to a folder you will keep.
  2. Enter opera://extensions in the address bar.
  3. Enable Developer mode.
  4. Choose Load unpacked and select the Twitch-Yo-Filter folder containing manifest.json.
  5. Refresh Twitch. Use the extension icon to toggle filtering.
